About Us
Suburban Community Vineyard Church is a spiritual community of people living in the Mitcham/Nunawading area of Melbourne who gather people in to the reality of God's love and purpose and bring them healing. We are a part of a worldwide movement called the Vineyard Association of Churches. You will find us a relaxed group of people who are eager to meet with God and know His love. We are also hungry to see this world encounter the living God.
What we do
Our worship gatherings involve worship, teaching and prayer. Our aim is to meet with God and give time and space for Him, through His Spirit, to speak to us, restore us and teach us so that we can be free to be who God made us to be and participate in His kingdom.
- more details -We want to be like Jesus in character and do what he did on this earth. We learn to do this by helping and encouraging each other, by reading scripture, and through the work of the Holy Spirit. We have called our process for discipleship 'DUST'.
- more details -Jesus leads us to bring His kingdom reality to everyone - the poor, the hurting, the isolated, people we work with, our familiy, friends and all people who God leads us to. We offer comfort, physical help, friendship, prayer for healing, generosity and relationship with Jesus.

Tuesday Night Prayer
On Tuesday nights, we gather in a home to spend time in God's presence and pray for breakthrough and the needs of our church. If you would like to come, please contact info@scvc.org.au
Girls/Guy's Nights
These bi-monthly events are a special time for girls and guys to get together separately and have some fun relate and support each other.
H.O.T.S.
'Healing on the streets' involves a group of people intentionally bringing the love of Jesus to the public. Fortnightly on a Friday evening we go to a local shopping centre. We ask the Lord for 'clues' for people to pray for, and then we go and find those people. We pray for physical and emotional healing, decision making, give prophetic encouragement, and anthing else that God leads us to do.
