our worship

Worship is what we give to God. It is the things we do, the songs we sing, the love we give, the attitudes of our heart that say thanks to God and honour him as worthy of our lives.

Worship Gatherings: Every week on a Sunday we meet at Mitcham Scout Hall at 10am for a worship gathering. It is all about connecting with God, listening to him and following what he wants to do among us. Kids are involved in portions of our worship gatherings and also have their own time together in another room where they play, sing and have an interactive bible -based lesson. In Worship gatherings we will:

  • Sing acoustic/pop/folk songs that speak truth and love to God.
  • Use art to respond to God in creative ways.
  • Drink tea, coffee and 'activite' and catch up.
  • Hear about what God is doing in people's lives ("what's ticking").
  • Learn about the ways of God, who he is and how to live out his will in our everyday lives from a biblical perspective.
  • Pray for each other - in response to the teaching, in response to what God is saying to us, or for particular physical, spiritual or emotional needs.
